FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How does pickup/drop-off work?
    Simple! It is contactless. We provide a PDF of all important details to know. We will deliver the car to your specified location in plenty of time before you arrive. Easy instructions will show you how to retrieve the key and where you’ll need to drop-off before you depart at the end of your trip.
  • What is needed to rent?
    Some of the information required to rent is a valid license and a credit card. 24 hours before your trip, you will be required to upload an additional valid photo of you and your ID.
  • Is the vehicle covered by insurance?
    While the vehicle does have a valid insurance policy to meet state requirements, in the case of an accident or violation, you will be responsible and required to use your own insurance.
  • Does my insurance cover my rental?
    Turo has the option for you to buy insurance with varying levels of premiums and coverage. You also may be covered by your own insurance and in that case you are eligible to deny Turo's insurance to use your pre-existing insurance.
